So, I'm pretty sure my friend Mary and I have decided to go backpacking across Europe for three months, and, despite the fact I have to leave my baby boy behind, I'm really rather excited about it. We're going to take the Eurail, and get the three month pass for that, and stay in random hostels, not really having a particular plan. Maybe visit some relatives in Denmark, I'll see if my cousin Anita and her daughter Chantal will take us in for a night or two. I've been feeling down lately, but that's because time is creeping along so slowly, with just two weeks left till my lovers return. I haven't talked to him in a while, I think his internet is down again. That or his brother is hogging the computer, I dunno, he makes up excuses now, and it kinda bothers me.
The weather is getting a bit crappy, and that worries me. Cause, y'know, it's summer. And I don't really wanna work in the rain, cleaning beach resort cabins. I've been thinking about getting another job, that I can do during the week, maybe a nightshift, so I can pay for my Europe trip. Cause lord knows my mum's not gonna pay for it unless I (and I quote) "Graduate with flying colors. Your big sister this, and your big sister that" to which I asked why I had to be compared to my big sister. I'm definitely not as smart or organized as my big sister. I mean, shouldn't it be enough that I'm graduating on time? What with all my failed classes, you'd think I'd have to do an extra year, but somehow, I'm gonna manage this. I HAVE TO.
